General Labourer Required Aylesbury
Location: Aylesbury
Working hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm
Start date: Monday 19th October
Rate: £12.71/hr PAYE, £16.63/hr via umbrella payroll
We are currently looking for a hardworking, reliable and experienced General Labourer to join a site team on a project in Aylesbury.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on construction sites, a positive attitude and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team. You must be punctual, safety-conscious and willing to carry out a variety of general labouring duties as required by the site management team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Keeping the site clean, tidy and free from hazards at all times.
- Assisting tradespeople and site management with day-to-day tasks.
- Moving and handling materials around the site as required.
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely.
- Maintaining clear access routes and ensuring walkways are kept free of obstructions.
- Removing rubbish and disposing of waste in designated areas.
- Following all site health and safety procedures.
- Wearing the correct PPE at all times and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Carrying out any other general labouring duties as requested by the site manager.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card essential.
- Full PPE essential.
- Previous construction site experience preferred.
- Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Able to follow instructions and work well within a team.
- Professional attitude and good timekeeping.
