Our client is looking for a Curriculum & Quality Lead – Science who is passionate about education, quality, and developing future talent in the science sector.

You might already work in apprenticeships, curriculum, or quality.
Or you could be working in a science-based role and ready to take your expertise into education.

Either way – our client will support you to grow in the role and make a real impact.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our client’s science curriculum is engaging, high-quality, and continuously improving. You’ll support learners, influence teaching standards, and help shape programmes that meet the needs of employers and the wider sector.

Your impact goes beyond delivery; you’ll help raise standards, drive quality, and support the future of science professionals.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading the development and continuous improvement of the science curriculum
• Delivering engaging teaching sessions (remote and occasional face-to-face)
• Ensuring a high-quality learner experience across the full apprenticeship journey
• Supporting learners with clear guidance, feedback, and progress reviews
• Contributing to internal quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
• Monitoring performance against KPIs and organisational expectations
• Working closely with colleagues and employers to support learner success
• Building strong relationships with learners, clients, and stakeholders
• Promoting safeguarding, equality, and professionalism in all areas of work

What we’re looking for

Essential:

• Strong knowledge of applied science, particularly Chemistry and Biology
• A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing others
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Commitment to safeguarding and learner wellbeing
• An IQA Qualification

We’d also love:

• Experience in Physics or Biomedical science
• Experience working in a laboratory or science-based industry
• Teaching, tutoring, or apprenticeship experience

Requirements

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

Experience:
• Applied science: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
• IQA qualification (required)
