Customer Account Manager

Location: Hull
Salary: £40,000 per annum

A well-established and successful manufacturing company based in Hull is looking to recruit a Customer Account Manager to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys building strong relationships, managing key accounts, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service from enquiry through to delivery.

• Manage and develop relationships with existing customer accounts.
• Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries, orders, and ongoing support.
• Coordinate with internal departments including production, planning, and logistics to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Monitor order progress and provide customers with regular updates.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and support business development activities.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate customer records and prepare reports as required.

• Previous experience in an Account Management, Customer Account Manager, or Customer Service role within manufacturing or a similar industry.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to customer satisfaction.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems.
• A team player with a positive, customer-first attitude.
