Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Customer Account Manager to join a busy, customer-focused supply chain team, with a leading Manufacturing business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships, coordinating orders and projects, and working collaboratively across multiple departments to ensure customer requirements are delivered on time.

As Customer Account Manager, you will take ownership of a focused portfolio of existing key accounts and act as a key point of contact between customers and the wider business.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing best-in-class customer service to a portfolio of key accounts.
• Managing the end-to-end customer journey, from order receipt through to production and final despatch.
• Working closely with customers to understand requirements, resolve issues and develop effective solutions.
• Coordinating with the Sales, Purchasing and Production teams to ensure customer orders are delivered within agreed timescales.
• Working with the Sales Manager to establish production sequences and lead times in line with customer shipping requirements.
• Liaising with Purchasing to ensure materials are available when required.
• Supporting production planning, forecasting and project management activities.
• Monitoring customer order coverage and analysing historical usage and demand trends.
• Supporting costing, estimating, quoting and project accounting activities.
• Preparing management and production reports.
• Monitoring, maintaining and contributing towards improving company and individual KPIs.
• Acting as a key stakeholder for your customers within the business.
• Communicating confidently with customers regarding potential issues, providing advice and ensuring solutions are delivered promptly.
• Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are consistently met.

We are looking for someone who is customer-focused, commercially aware and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in customer account management or a similar customer-facing role.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• A strong project management mindset.
• The ability to analyse data and use information proactively to support decision-making.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• A proactive, self-motivated and resilient approach.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• A professional telephone manner.
• Strong IT skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.

Experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

• Customer account management within a busy manufacturing or production environment.
• Working across both internal and external supply chains.
• Cost estimation and preparing quotations.
• Demand forecasting and production scheduling.
• Commercial negotiation.
• Production planning and project accounting.
