Customer Account Manager – Full-Time – Permanent – £30k-£35k – Bury

About the Role

We are working with a well-established global manufacturer who are looking to appoint a Customer Account Manager to join their team in Bury.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, customer-focused individual to join a successful and established business. You will be the first point of contact for customers, managing enquiries, processing orders and providing a high level of service throughout the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries by telephone, email and other communication channels.
• Provide a professional, friendly and customer-focused service.
• Process customer orders accurately using SAP and follow company procedures.
• Create and maintain accurate customer records within SAP.
• Keep customers informed about the progress of their enquiries and orders.
• Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Escalate issues appropriately where additional support is required.
• Prepare and distribute routine reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer service and business processes.
• Follow all company Health & Safety procedures.
• Support the wider team with other reasonable duties as required.

What We're Looking For

• Confident using Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a busy environment and under pressure.
• A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• A positive team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Able to plan, prioritise and manage their own workload.
