Customer Care Technician – New Build Housing

Location: Norfolk
Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-Time | Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Care Technician to join our growing Customer Care team, covering developments across the Norfolk region.

Working for a respected new build housing developer, you'll be responsible for delivering outstanding aftercare service to homeowners by completing remedial works and ensuring customer satisfaction remains our top priority.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled multi-trader who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out a variety of warranty and snagging repairs within occupied new build homes.
  • Complete carpentry, decorating, mastic, patch plastering and minor plumbing repairs.
  • Diagnose defects and complete remedial works efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Manage your daily workload across multiple developments throughout Norfolk.
  • Provide a professional and friendly service to homeowners.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed works using handheld devices or job management systems.
  • Liaise with the Customer Care team regarding appointments and ongoing repairs.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience as a Customer Care Technician, Multi-Trade Operative or Finishing Technician within the new build housing sector.
  • Is confident carrying out a wide range of finishing and maintenance tasks.
  • Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Works well independently and can effectively manage their own workload.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence.
  • Is reliable, professional and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
