Pay: £12.83 per hour

Are you confident on the phone and enjoy helping customers? We're looking for a proactive and personable Customer Contact Executive to join a growing team in Crawley.
This is a fast-paced role where you'll spend a large proportion of your day speaking with customers and third parties over the phone, gathering information, resolving queries and ensuring cases continue to progress smoothly. The Role
As a Customer Contact Executive, you'll be responsible for managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, supporting customers throughout their journey and ensuring all information is accurately captured and recorded.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Contact & Case Progression
- Make a high volume of outbound calls to customers and third parties to obtain information and progress cases.
- Handle inbound customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Build rapport with customers whilst delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Take ownership of customer queries and work proactively towards resolution.
- Keep customers informed with regular updates throughout the process.
- Communicate via telephone, email, text and other channels where required.
Call Handling & Information Gathering
- Obtain and verify important information from customers and third parties.
- Ask relevant questions to accurately assess each case.
- Ensure all conversations are handled professionally, empathetically and in line with company procedures.
- Manage follow-up calls and ongoing customer contact to ensure cases progress without delay.
Record Keeping & Administration
- Accurately update customer records following every interaction.
- Log call outcomes and maintain clear case notes on internal systems.
- Ensure customer information is recorded correctly and kept up to date.
- Complete any supporting administration associated with customer cases.
Team Support
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive working environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
- Support wider team activity during busy periods when required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within a call centre, contact centre, customer service or telephone-based role.
- Confident speaking with customers and managing a high volume of calls.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Comfortable handling sensitive conversations professionally and empathetically.
- Good attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
- Competent IT skills and confidence using multiple systems.
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
