UK Storage Company is the UK’s largest centrally managed self-storage provider, delivering high-quality storage solutions and exceptional customer experiences across the country. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Customer Engagement Executive to join our Operations team and play a key role in supporting customers while driving business growth.
The Role
As a Customer Engagement Executive, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while managing sales opportunities across inbound and outbound customer interactions. You’ll support customers throughout their storage journey — from initial enquiry through to move-in and beyond — ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to service excellence.
This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, achieving targets and making a real impact on customer satisfaction and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer enquiries via phone, email and online channels
- Convert sales opportunities into reservations and move-ins
- Make outbound calls to follow up leads, re-engage customers and maximise opportunities
- Deliver needs-based selling and promote additional products and services
- Achieve individual sales targets and KPIs
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve queries effectively
- Support customer onboarding, account management and vacating processes
- Maintain accurate customer records and CRM information
- Assist with debtor management and payment conversations professionally
- Contribute to campaigns, projects and wider contact centre activities
- Previous experience in customer service, sales or a contact centre environment
- Strong telephone communication and relationship-building skills
- A proven ability to achieve targets and deliver results
- Confidence handling objections and closing sales opportunities
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Good IT skills and experience using CRM systems
- A positive, proactive and customer-focused approach
