Job type: Permanent, full-time preferred. This is a 40-hour per week role, although the company are open to discussing a possible job share if there is suitable interest in splitting the position.
Salary: Competitive, Depending on Experience.
Location: Swanmore, Hampshire SO32.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
About The Company
They are a local, family-run window and door manufacturer, proudly established in 1989. Based in Swanmore, Hampshire, the company are looking for a confident and organised Customer Service Administrator to join their friendly team and help support their customers, colleagues and day-to-day office operations.
Please note, their location has limited public transport links, so you will need reliable transport to travel to and from work.
The role
This is a varied and important office-based role within a small, supportive team. You will be a key point of contact for customers, helping to manage enquiries, support daily administration and ensure information is handled accurately and professionally. The role would suit someone who enjoys speaking with people, staying organised and being part of a business where no two days are quite the same.
Key responsibilities
- Handling customer enquiries by phone and email in a professional and helpful manner.
- Supporting the team with general administration and daily office tasks.
- Updating records and systems accurately.
- Helping customers with queries, updates and follow-up information.
- Working closely with colleagues across the business to keep things running smoothly.
- Following company procedures and supporting a safe, organised working environment.
What they are looking for
We are looking for someone with previous customer service, administration or office-based experience, along with a positive attitude and a practical approach to problem solving. Full training will be provided, however attention to detail, reliability and a willingness to learn are essential.
Skills and experience
- Previous experience in customer service, administration or a similar office-based role.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Confident telephone manner with the ability to deal with enquiries calmly.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good working knowledge of Outlook and general IT or database systems.
- Ability to prioritise, multitask and stay organised during busy periods.
- Friendly, reliable and team-focused.
