About the Role

A highly successful and growing logistics company based in Biggleswade is looking for an outgoing, ambitious and experienced Customer Service Advisor with a background in transport or logistics to join their team.

You’ll play an important role in delivering a high-quality, market-leading logistics service, while working independently within a secure office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling general customer service queries professionally and efficiently
• Liaising with customers via telephone and email
• Managing inbound calls and making outbound calls when required
• Planning and routing pallet network schedules for the following morning
• Ensuring customers receive a consistently high level of service
• Working independently and using your own initiative
• Maintaining a professional and positive approach when dealing with customers and colleagues

Working Hours

Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 7:00pm – 7:00am

12-hour shifts each day | 36-hour working week

This is a weekend night-shift position, with the successful candidate working independently within a secure office environment.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in customer service, ideally within the transport or logistics industry
• Self-motivated, reliable and organised
• Confident communicating with customers by telephone and email
• Comfortable working independently and making decisions using their own initiative
• Ambitious and keen to develop within a growing company
• Able to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
