Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email, ensuring every interaction is professional and welcoming.
• Accurately process customer sales orders and identify any discrepancies to maintain high standards of service.
• Provide product pricing and detailed information using internal systems and price files, ensuring customers receive accurate responses.
• Address customer queries promptly and efficiently, offering basic technical support where necessary.
• Foster positive relationships with customers by understanding their individual needs and preferences.
• Maintain up-to-date records using Sage and other internal systems, contributing to seamless service delivery.
• Handle customer complaints effectively, striving for satisfactory resolutions that enhance the customer experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure a cohesive approach to customer service.
• Adhere to company procedures, policies, and communication guidelines at all times.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in customer service or a related field is desirable.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills that foster clear and friendly interactions.
• Strong attention to detail and a process-driven approach to tasks.
• Familiarity with Sage and Microsoft Office applications is advantageous.
• Ability to build rapport with diverse customers and adapt communication styles as needed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the confidence to investigate and resolve issues independently.
• Strong organisational skills, capable of multitasking and prioritising workloads effectively.
