Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm

The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Customer Service Agent to join their busy Call Centre team in Rotherham.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customer service or call centre experience to join a well-established company. The role involves supporting customers with orders, resolving queries and helping them transition to a new online ordering platform.

Duties will include:

  • Handling inbound customer calls and email enquiries
  • Processing customer orders and dealing with order queries
  • Assisting customers with account registrations and password resets
  • Guiding customers through the online self-service ordering platform
  • Troubleshooting basic system issues and providing solutions
  • Encouraging customers to use the online ordering system
  • Updating customer records accurately
  • Escalating unresolved issues where required
  • Providing a high level of customer service at all times
  • Processing orders manually for customers not yet using the online platform

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous customer service or call centre experience
  • Excellent communication and telephone skills
  • Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • A positive and professional attitude
  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using CRM or order management systems would be advantageous
