Looking for a varied customer service role where no two days are the same?
We're looking for a proactive and organised Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator to join a friendly, growing business that supplies products across the UK and Europe. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong customer service or logistics administration background who enjoys speaking with customers, coordinating deliveries and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
This is a broad role combining customer service, administration and logistics coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to become a key part of a close-knit team. This role is commutable to the LE15 postcode and fully office-based.
The Role: Customer Service Coordinator
- Providing first-class customer service via telephone and email.
- Processing customer orders accurately using CRM and ERP systems.
- Preparing customer quotations and following up where required.
- Coordinating daily deliveries and dispatch schedules.
- Liaising with transport providers, warehouses and installation teams.
- Keeping customers updated on deliveries and resolving any issues.
- Obtaining and issuing Proofs of Delivery (PODs).
- Supporting the wider sales and customer service team with administrative tasks.
- Maintaining accurate customer records and documentation.
- Assisting with transport planning and ensuring products are delivered efficiently.
- Previous experience within Customer Service, Sales Administration, Logistics Administration or Dispatch Coordination.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and business systems such as CRM or ERP software.
- Good numerical ability.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn the logistics side of the role.
- A full UK driving licence and own transport.
- £26,000-£29,000 salary per year depending on experience.
