Customer Service Coordinator

Sheffield

Travis Talent is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established Sheffield manufacturing business that supplies specialist products to customers across the UK and internationally.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint an organised and customer-focused Commercial Sales Support Coordinator to become an integral part of their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in sales support, customer service or commercial administration who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where no two days are the same.

Working closely with colleagues across Sales, Production, Quality and Business Development, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer enquiries are handled professionally, quotations are produced accurately and customer orders progress smoothly from enquiry through to delivery.

If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems and being at the heart of a busy commercial operation, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As Commercial Sales Support Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries
  • Producing quotations and supporting the sales team with commercial opportunities
  • Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Raising works orders and maintaining commercial documentation
  • Liaising with production, quality and logistics teams to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Providing customers with order updates and delivery information
  • Coordinating export and shipping documentation where required
  • Supporting technical sales colleagues with customer and product enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and commercial data
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the commercial function

About You

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a sales support, customer service, commercial support or administration role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A customer-first approach with a proactive attitude
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Experience within manufacturing or engineering would be highly advantageous, as would experience with ERP systems, export documentation or international shipping processes, although these are not essential.

What's on Offer

  • Opportunity to join a successful and growing manufacturing business
  • Varied and rewarding role with genuine responsibility
  • Supportive and collaborative working environment
  • Long-term career development opportunities
  • Full-time permanent position based in Sheffield

If you're looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact within a busy commercial team and develop your career with an established manufacturer, we'd love to hear from you.
