Description
Working closely with customers, sales teams, and internal departments, you will play a key role in ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered efficiently while providing outstanding support throughout the customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customers before and after sales.
- Process customer orders accurately through internal systems and complete post-entry checks.
- Manage customer enquiries through to resolution, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure orders are delivered on time.
- Coordinate deliveries and maintain regular communication with customers.
- Support external sales teams with product, order, and process information.
- Handle customer complaints, arrange replacements where necessary, and process credit requests.
- Prepare quotations and provide administrative sales support.
Profile
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- At least 2 years' experience in a customer service environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
- A proactive, enthusiastic approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Experinace in the manufacturing industry is desirable.
