Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
- Process customer sales orders accurately and within agreed order cut-off times
- Handle complex customer queries and complaints via telephone, email and other communication channels
- Manage orders of varying complexity, including export documentation and certifications
- Build strong customer relationships and act as a key liaison between customers, sales and internal departments
- Support and coach new Customer Service team members, including system training and identifying further development needs
- Work closely with departments including Sales, Warehouse, Shipping and Production to resolve customer queries and ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Contribute to key business projects including new product launches, customer onboarding, system improvements and process enhancements
Required Skills & Experience:
- Customer Service experience, ideally within a fast-paced commercial or manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex customer queries
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using an ERP system such as Sage, SAP or Oracle
- A proactive approach with the ability to work collaboratively and support colleagues across the wider business
- Experience with export orders/documentation would be advantageous
