Location: Dagenham, Essex (relocating to Thurrock after approximately 1 month)

Salary: £13.50 - £15.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service & Sales Advisor to join a busy and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys building strong customer relationships, delivering exceptional service, and supporting sales activities in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of customer service, responding to enquiries via telephone, email, and in person in a professional and timely manner
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Process customer orders accurately, ensuring all information is correct and compliant with company procedures
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales records
  • Support the sales function through efficient administration and customer communication
  • Use Microsoft Excel for data entry, reporting, and record management
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Resolve customer queries and issues effectively, maintaining a customer-first approach

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, internal sales, or sales advisor role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data entry, formulas, and basic reporting
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Please note: The role will initially be based in Dagenham, Essex, before relocating to Thurrock after approximately one month. Applicants should be able to commute to both locations.
