Customer Service & Showroom Manager
We’re recruiting an experienced Customer Service & Showroom Manager to join a leading international manufacturer and supplier of premium surfaces for the residential and commercial interiors market.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while managing the day-to-day operation and presentation of the company’s showroom.
You’ll lead the customer service function across UK-based and offshore teams, managing customer enquiries, orders and service levels while working closely with Sales, Warehouse and Operations. You’ll also play an important commercial role, strengthening customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities and ensuring a seamless journey from initial enquiry through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop the customer service team
- Manage customer enquiries, orders, complaints and service issues
- Ensure consistently high service levels across all customer touchpoints
- Oversee the showroom, ensuring an engaging and professional customer experience
- Build strong relationships with trade and fabricator customers
- Work closely with Sales, Warehouse and Operations to ensure efficient order fulfilment
- Identify opportunities to improve service, processes and customer satisfaction
- Support sales growth through strong relationship management and commercial awareness
About You
You’ll be a confident, customer-focused manager with strong leadership skills and a proactive, solutions-led approach. You’ll be organised, commercially aware and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential experience:
- Previous management of a customer service team
- Experience within distribution, wholesale, retail or a similar customer-focused environment
- Customer complaint handling and service improvement
- Customer order management and administration
- CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Good commercial awareness
Desirable:
- Showroom or retail management experience
- ERP/order processing system knowledge
- Experience within interiors, home improvement, building products or distribution
