Customer Service Specialists - Invoicing and Shipping

The Customer Service Specialist will play a key role in supporting outbound logistics and invoicing processes. You will manage customer orders from initial processing through to shipment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a consistently high level of customer service throughout the end-to-end process.
Positions available:
1 x Long-term contract role (initially 6–12 months)
1 x Permanent role
Working hours: 7:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday. 37.5 hours per working week.
Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Specialist:
- Process customer orders and generate accurate invoices for international intercompany customers.
- Coordinate orders, shipments, and asset deliveries between manufacturing, warehouse teams, carriers, and customers.
- Arrange outbound freight, monitor shipment progress, and maintain related records.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, including export control checks, documentation, classifications, and certificates.
- Serve as a liaison with internal departments such as sales, shipping, purchasing, credit, and collections to ensure timely customer service.
- Handle customer inquiries, credits, returns, and claims, providing effective issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery status, invoicing, and customer transactions.
- Perform administrative tasks supporting customer service operations and sales order processing.
Experience & Exposures:
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and Power BI (user)
- SAP experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of export processes (e.g. commodity codes) is an advantage
