Are you a hands-on engineer who enjoys working directly with customers and travelling internationally?
I’m working on an exciting Customer Support Engineer opportunity within a specialist communications and defence environment, supporting complex technical systems across the UK and overseas.
The RoleYou’ll be responsible for:
- Installation, commissioning and maintenance of communications and network systems
- 2nd-line technical support and repair
- Customer site surveys and technical troubleshooting
- Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and customer trials
- Customer training and technical demonstrations
- Requirements capture and technical documentation
- Working closely with customers and internal engineering teams
- Around 70% site-based, with UK and international travel
- RF / Radio
- Datalinks
- Networking / TCP/IP
- Telecommunications
- Communications systems
- Defence or other complex technical environments
- Hands-on installation, commissioning or field service
UK & international travel
Predominantly field-based and customer-facing
