Stopping a cyber threat early starts with spotting what matters, cutting through false alarms and acting quickly when a genuine risk appears. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you’ll be on the frontline of that response, monitoring security activity for corporate clients and helping protect their systems from emerging threats.

You’ll join an established MSP in London’s West End, working within a growing UK-based team where you’ll triage alerts, investigate potential incidents and take ownership of first-line remediation. Your responsibilities as Cyber Security Analyst
  • Monitor, triage and provide the first line of defence for incidents across the organisation and managed security service
  • Investigate alerts, identify false positives and prioritise genuine threats based on severity and potential impact
  • Follow established playbooks to carry out remedial actions, escalating more complex or urgent incidents where required
  • Manage technical, stakeholder and client communications throughout active incidents, providing clear and concise updates
  • Liaise with third-party service providers when required, logging tickets and coordinating activity through to resolution
  • Maintain a professional, customer-focused service throughout each ticket lifecycle, keeping clients informed of progress and managing expectations
What we’re looking for in a Cyber Security Analyst
  • Proven experience working within a Tier 1 security operations environment for an MSP, supporting corporate clients
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel SIEM and Endpoint Detection and Response technologies
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 cloud technologies from a cyber threat and security perspective
  • SC-200 Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate and SC-900 Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals, or currently studying towards these certifications
  • Strong client service, incident communication and telephone skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities during active security events
Working hours: 7.5 hours per day on a fortnightly shift pattern – 8:00am–4:30pm, 9:00am–5:30pm or 9:30am–6:00pm.
