Flexible Primary Teaching Work in Barnet
Teach Now is looking for reliable and adaptable Daily Supply Teachers to work in primary schools across Barnet from September 2026.
Daily supply teaching offers qualified teachers the freedom to choose when they work while continuing to develop experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Bookings may include planned cover, short-notice absence and occasional longer assignments.
As a Daily Supply Teacher, you will be expected to arrive prepared, follow the school’s plans and provide pupils with a positive and productive day of learning.
- Delivering lessons using work provided by the school
- Managing the classroom calmly and consistently
- Adapting activities when pupils require additional support
- Supporting pupils with SEN within an inclusive classroom
- Following school policies, routines and safeguarding procedures
- Providing clear feedback for the returning class teacher
- Maintaining a safe and purposeful learning environment
To register for Daily Supply Teacher work, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status or a formally recognised UK teaching qualification
- Recent primary teaching experience
- Knowledge of the EYFS or national primary curriculum
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Flexibility and confidence entering unfamiliar schools
- The right to work in the UK
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete a new application
Both experienced teachers and confident early career teachers are encouraged to apply.
