Daily Supply Teacher – Barnet

Location: Barnet, North London
Pay: £145–£175 per day
Contract: Part Time, Temporary / Daily Supply
Start Date: September 2026

Teach Now is recruiting Daily Supply Teachers in Barnet to work across local primary schools from September. This is an excellent option for qualified teachers who want to choose when they work, gain experience in different school environments or balance teaching with other commitments.

Assignments can cover EYFS, KS1 or KS2 and may range from single-day bookings to short blocks of cover.

Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver lessons and activities left by the permanent class teacher.
  • Maintain a positive, calm and purposeful classroom.
  • Follow each school’s behaviour, safeguarding and classroom procedures.
  • Adapt confidently to different year groups and school environments.
  • Ensure pupils remain engaged and learning continues throughout the day.
  • Leave clear feedback for the class teacher where appropriate.
We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Recent primary-school teaching experience.
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS and/or National Curriculum.
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management.
  • Reliability, flexibility and strong communication skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Right to work in the UK.
