Daily Supply Teacher – Primary
Location: Lewisham, South-East London
Salary: £145–£175 per day, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time availability; ongoing temporary assignments
Start date: ASAP from 21 September 2026
Transparency Education is looking for dependable Daily Supply Teachers to work with a network of welcoming primary schools across Lewisham. Whether you want regular work, broader classroom experience or greater control over your week, daily supply offers variety without the usual planning responsibilities.
We aim to match each Daily Supply Teacher with suitable schools and year groups. Assignments may be booked in advance or on the day, and you will receive clear information before each placement whenever available.
As a Daily Supply Teacher, you will:
- Deliver prepared lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Maintain positive behaviour and established school routines
- Adapt tasks to keep pupils engaged and included
- Mark completed work and leave a concise handover
- Follow each school’s safeguarding and behaviour policies
- Represent yourself and Transparency Education professionally
- UK QTS and recent classroom experience
- Strong behaviour-management and communication skills
- Flexibility, punctuality and confidence in unfamiliar settings
- Willingness to travel to schools within Lewisham
- The right to work in the UK
