Join a well-established Housing Association in an exciting opportunity where your data and insight can help shape services and support better decision-making. This Data Analyst position offers the chance to join the Business Intelligence team on a 10-month fixed-term contract, using data, reporting and analytics to support colleagues across the organisation.
As a Data Analyst, you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering regular and ad-hoc management information, reports and analysis, helping to turn complex data into clear and meaningful insight. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with stakeholders and using data to identify trends and opportunities for service improvement.
We’d love to hear from anyone with a background as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, MI Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Performance Analyst, or similar role, particularly within the housing or public sector.

As a Data Analyst, you will be:
  • Extracting, cleaning, modelling and analysing data from a range of systems.
  • Developing and delivering management information, reports, dashboards and data visualisations.
  • Carrying out comparative, benchmarking and trend analysis to identify themes and opportunities for service improvement.
  • Working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver meaningful reporting and analysis.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of the organisation's Performance Reporting Framework.
  • Maintaining high standards of data quality, validation and accuracy.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline data collection and reporting through automation and digital solutions.
  • Supporting regulatory and performance reporting requirements.
  • Presenting complex data and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
I’d love to speak to any Data Analyst who has:
  • Experience in data analysis, business intelligence, management information or performance reporting.
  • Experience extracting, cleaning, modelling and presenting data.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using BI tools and data visualisation techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate complex data and insights clearly to a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience working within the housing or public sector would be advantageous.
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, Power Query, DAX or housing management systems such as OpenHousing would also be beneficial.
Key requirements for this Data Analyst role:
  • Educated to Level 4 or above, ideally within a data, statistical or information systems-related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to manage changing priorities and work to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
