As a Data Analyst, you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering regular and ad-hoc management information, reports and analysis, helping to turn complex data into clear and meaningful insight. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with stakeholders and using data to identify trends and opportunities for service improvement.
We’d love to hear from anyone with a background as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, MI Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Performance Analyst, or similar role, particularly within the housing or public sector.
As a Data Analyst, you will be:
- Extracting, cleaning, modelling and analysing data from a range of systems.
- Developing and delivering management information, reports, dashboards and data visualisations.
- Carrying out comparative, benchmarking and trend analysis to identify themes and opportunities for service improvement.
- Working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver meaningful reporting and analysis.
- Supporting the development and implementation of the organisation's Performance Reporting Framework.
- Maintaining high standards of data quality, validation and accuracy.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline data collection and reporting through automation and digital solutions.
- Supporting regulatory and performance reporting requirements.
- Presenting complex data and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in data analysis, business intelligence, management information or performance reporting.
- Experience extracting, cleaning, modelling and presenting data.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using BI tools and data visualisation techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to communicate complex data and insights clearly to a range of stakeholders.
- Experience working within the housing or public sector would be advantageous.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, Power Query, DAX or housing management systems such as OpenHousing would also be beneficial.
- Educated to Level 4 or above, ideally within a data, statistical or information systems-related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage changing priorities and work to a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- 10-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.
