Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a Data and Performance Manager to lead the development, management, and continuous improvement of contract performance, reporting, and data analysis.

This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely data is available to support strategic decision-making, service improvement, and organisational performance across the contract.

The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a data-driven culture, improving data quality, and delivering meaningful insights that support operational effectiveness. Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, they will ensure reporting frameworks and data systems provide clear visibility of performance and outcomes.

Job Overview

The Data and Performance Manager will be responsible for overseeing performance reporting, data governance, and analytical activities across the contract. The role requires a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement, ensuring stakeholders have access to reliable information that supports informed decision-making.

Working closely with operational teams and senior leaders, the postholder will identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, while maintaining effective reporting tools, dashboards, and system integrations to support service delivery and contract performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain regular operational performance reports across the contract.
  • Monitor performance trends and identify risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Produce performance reports for senior leadership teams, boards, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct advanced data analysis and translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights.
  • Oversee data collection, validation, governance, and work order reconciliation activities.
  • Manage and optimise data systems, reporting tools, dashboards, and CAFM integrations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and provide expert data advice.
  • Promote best practice in data literacy, performance management, and continuous service improvement.

Person Specification

  • Experience of MAS.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in performance management, data analysis, or business intelligence.
  • Experience working with KPIs, targets, and performance frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and present findings to a range of audiences.
  • Experience with API integrations, CAFM systems, Facilities Management environments, and Power BI.
