Data Entry Clerk

ASA Recruitment’s client, a Public Sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit 20x Data Entry Clerks, onsite in either Hamilton or East Kilbride for initial 3 month contracts (starting 29th June 2026) on a rate of £13.84/hour PAYE to £15.59/hour PAYE (based on experience).
Responsibilities:
- Extract and interpret handwritten data from job tickets, timesheets and stock lists
- Accurately input data into the new repairs system
- Ensure all entries are complete, consistent, and error-free
- Manage high volumes of data within tight deadlines
- Identify and flag unclear or missing information
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company procedures
- Provide general clerical and administrative support as required
Essential Experience:
- Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret handwritten information accurately
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and data systems
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Team player with a flexible and proactive approach
Desirable Experience:
- Experience with MRI Housing One would be very advantageous (desirable but not essential)
