We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Labelling Analyst to support the development and improvement of AI-driven content moderation systems. This role is responsible for evaluating moderation decisions, maintaining quality standards, creating benchmark datasets, and collaborating with operational teams to improve accuracy and consistency across content review programs. - Review and evaluate content moderation decisions to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain benchmark ("golden set") datasets used to measure moderation accuracy and model performance.
- Conduct quality assurance audits and identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
- Partner with operational teams and external vendors to calibrate performance and drive continuous quality improvements.
- Analyse moderation data and key performance metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Support the enhancement of moderation workflows, processes, and AI training methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on moderation standards and quality objectives.
- Participate in ongoing policy, tooling, and industry training to remain current with evolving online safety challenges.
- 4+ years of Experience in Content Moderation, Trust & Safety, Quality Assurance, Data Labelling, Policy Enforcement, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of content moderation policies, risk assessment, and quality assurance practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with external vendors or operational partners is advantageous.
- Experience using data analysis and reporting tools is preferred.
- Experience within online safety, content integrity, trust and safety, or content review organisations.
- Experience working with content moderation tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends within content moderation and online safety.
- Relevant certifications in Quality Assurance, Content Moderation, Trust & Safety, or related disciplines.
- Candidates with expertise in Child Safety and/or Deceptive Links investigations, policy application, content review, quality assurance, or operational programmes are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience working in either of these domains will be considered a significant advantage.
This role is performed in an office-based environment and requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. The position involves reviewing sensitive content and may include exposure to material that some individuals may find graphic, disturbing, or objectionable, including content related to child exploitation, violence, self-harm, animal abuse, hate speech, and other high-risk content categories.
