Location: Primary School, Romford
Employment Type: Part-Time – 30 Hours per Week (typically 9:00am – 4:00pm)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Approx. £27,112 (pro rata)

About the Role:

anzuk Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-established primary school in Romford for an experienced and highly organised Data Officer.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous UK school administration experience who has strong knowledge of Arbor (or a similar MIS) and enjoys working with data, admissions and compliance. You'll play a key role in supporting the Senior Leadership Team by ensuring the school's data systems remain accurate, compliant and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the school's Arbor MIS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Produce reports and analyse pupil achievement and assessment data.
  • Support statutory returns including the School Census.
  • Assist with pupil admissions and maintain accurate admissions records.
  • Produce reports for Senior Leaders and external agencies.
  • Manage GDPR compliance, data protection procedures and associated documentation.
  • Coordinate Subject Access Requests and Freedom of Information requests.
  • Support communication with parents through electronic messaging systems.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider administration team to support the smooth day-to-day running of the school.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a UK school office.
  • Strong working knowledge of Arbor (or another school MIS).
  • Experience producing reports and managing school data.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data protection legislation.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through anzuk Education.
