Our client is looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Day Shift Operator to join their busy operation in Slough, handling a wide range of cargo including chilled, frozen and ambient goods.

📦 Key Responsibilities

• 📦 Manual handling of all types of cargo, including perishable goods in chilled, frozen and ambient temperature environments.
• 🚜 Operating a fleet of Counterbalance Forklift Trucks (1.5T–8T) safely and efficiently.
• 📋 Picking, packing, splitting and sorting shipments accurately and on time.
• 🚛 Loading and unloading company vehicles, from vans through to articulated lorries, as well as visiting vehicles.
• ✈️ Building, sorting and stacking aircraft pallets while recording all movements using the warehouse computer system.
• 💻 Maintaining accurate warehouse stock records, both electronically and on paper.
• 🤝 Working closely with the office team, supervisors and warehouse management to ensure smooth daily operations.
• 🧹 Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and promoting a clean, safe working environment.

✅ What They're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• ✔️ A minimum of 3 years' warehouse experience
• ✔️ Previous experience within the Air Freight/Air Cargo industry
• ✔️ A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (B1 Classification) (B2 is advantageous but not essential)
• ✔️ Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• ✔️ The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• ✔️ A positive attitude and commitment to health and safety

4 Days On / 4 Days Off

🕘 09:00 – 19:00
