An exciting opportunity has arisen for a De-burr Operative to join a busy manufacturing team. You will be responsible for removing sharp edges, scratches, and imperfections from metal components to ensure products meet the highest quality standards before dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- De-burr metal components using hand tools and specialist finishing equipment.
- Remove sharp edges, burrs, scratches, and surface defects.
- Finish products to customer quality standards.
- Inspect components for defects and dimensional accuracy.
- Use measuring equipment where required.
- Follow engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation.
- Report quality issues to supervisors.
- Work safely in line with company health and safety procedures.
- Previous manufacturing or engineering experience preferred.
- Experience using hand tools, grinders, files, sanders, or polishing equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
