Renault Retail Group is looking for a Car Park Attendant / Dealership Driver to join our team at Renault Romford, located on the Southend Arterial Road in Harold Wood (RM3).

This role supports the smooth operation of our Sales and Aftersales departments by helping manage customer cars, stock vehicles, parts delivery vans, workshop movements, vehicle storage areas, and site access.

A large proportion of the role is carried out outdoors, coordinating vehicle movements around the dealership and ensuring our customer parking facilities remain safe, organised, and accessible. The position would suit someone who enjoys being active, organised, and working with vehicles throughout the day.

What You'll Do

• Welcome customers on site and help direct vehicles to the appropriate parking and reception areas
• Coordinate vehicle movements around the dealership, workshop, and storage areas
• Support the management of incoming stock vehicles arriving by transporter
• Carry out vehicle condition inspections and report any damage identified
• Complete vehicle damage reports and assist with vehicle check-in procedures
• Progress vehicles into the workshop for servicing, repairs, and PDI work
• Assist with vehicle preparation and movement for customer collections and handovers
• Help maintain clear access routes for workshop operations, parts deliveries, and customer parking
• Manage vehicle keys and support the safe storage of customer and company vehicles
• Maintain high standards of site presentation, housekeeping, and vehicle organisation
• Report hazards, damage, or Health & Safety concerns promptly
• Undertake additional driving and support duties to assist with the efficient operation of the dealership

What We're Looking For 

We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate: 

• Previous experience in a vehicle movement, dealership driver, car park attendant, valeting, or similar automotive support role
• Strong attention to detail when inspecting vehicles for damage or missing items
• Good communication skills when working with customers and colleagues
• Ability to organise and prioritise a variety of tasks throughout the day
• A reliable, professional, and customer-focused approach
• Confidence manoeuvring a variety of vehicles safely
• Comfortable working outdoors throughout the year

 Previous experience within a franchised dealership would be beneficial but is not essential.

Driving Licence Requirement 

A full UK driving licence (manual and automatic vehicles) is essential for this role.

Candidates progressing beyond the application stage may be asked to provide a DVLA licence check summary.

Hours & Pay 

• £31,005 pa basic salary
• Monday to Friday 8:00am–6:00pm with 1-hour unpaid lunch break
• 45 hours per week
• Full-time permanent position
