Overview
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to support a government client within the public sector. This is an initial 6-month contract with the potential for extension. Candidates must be comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with an expectation of 3 days onsite/ week, supporting digital delivery across complex programmes and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in the successful delivery of digital products and services.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, ensuring outcomes are delivered to time, quality and budget expectations.
- Remove impediments and unblock delivery challenges across teams and stakeholders.
- Facilitate planning, sprint ceremonies, workshops and programme governance activities.
- Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, tools and team performance.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate delivery progress, risks and dependencies.
- Support Agile ways of working and promote a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Ensure delivery aligns with user needs, business objectives and government digital standards.
Essential Experience
- Previous experience delivering programmes within Government or Public Sector environments.
- Experience leading Agile delivery teams across digital transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrable experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and delivery roadmaps.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including product, engineering, design and business stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all organisational levels.
- Experience facilitating workshops, planning sessions and governance forums.
- Ability to deliver in fast-paced and changing environments.

Contract: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Location: 3 days Onsite
Rate: £300 - £435 per day Inside IR35
