We are very excited and proud to be able to offer this position and an opportunity to join such a prestigious client who is exclusively working with Accord Appointments Ltd for this new project.

The scope for career progression in this organisation is incredible, with a high staff retention and multiple success stories of growth within the business gives it a real family feel to the business.

We are looking for an experienced and driven Delivery Partner Manager to join our team and play a key role in managing, developing and improving our network of Delivery Partners.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on building strong relationships, driving performance and delivering continuous improvement. You will be responsible for ensuring our Delivery Partners consistently meet contractual requirements and deliver high-quality services and positive outcomes for Participants.

Working across our organisation and with external stakeholders, commissioners and Delivery Partners, you will use your commercial awareness, analytical skills and relationship-building expertise to identify opportunities, resolve challenges and drive sustainable improvements across the supply chain.

What You'll Be Doing

As Delivery Partner Manager, you will:

  • Manage a portfolio of Delivery Partners, ensuring they consistently deliver high-quality services and meet or exceed contractual performance and service standards.
  • Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with Delivery Partners, commissioners and key stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner and constructive challenge where required.
  • Monitor performance, identify trends and emerging risks, and take timely action to address underperformance and maximise opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and support Delivery Partners through performance management processes, ensuring clear expectations, appropriate actions and measurable improvement plans are in place.
  • Attend regular performance review meetings with Delivery Partners, challenging performance where necessary and ensuring agreed actions are delivered.
  • Drive continuous improvement and capacity building across the Delivery Partner network by sharing best practice and identifying innovative approaches to service delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams including Continuous Improvement, Performance Excellence, Business Intelligence, Audit & Risk, Compliance and Employer Services to improve quality and performance.
  • Conduct site visits, observations and monitoring activity to ensure the quality of provision and the experience of Participants remains consistently high.
  • Monitor contractual compliance and manage associated risks, working closely with Compliance and Audit colleagues to ensure appropriate action is taken.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of contract management activity, ensuring the organisation is fully prepared for internal and external audits and accreditations.
  • Regularly review and re-profile performance expectations, supporting accurate forecasting, target setting and effective resource planning.
  • Represent the company and its Delivery Partner network professionally with commissioners and external stakeholders, contributing to the development of strong and sustainable partnerships.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who combines strong relationship management skills with commercial awareness, operational experience and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes.

You'll ideally have:

  • Significant experience within the employment, skills, employability or related sectors.
  • Experience in operational management, supply chain management or partnership management.
  • Experience of managing performance against contractual requirements and targets.
  • A proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with Delivery Partners, employers, commissioners and stakeholders.
  • Experience of managing underperformance and implementing effective performance improvement plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, understand their impact and implement practical solutions.
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding performance targets.
  • Knowledge and understanding of local and regional labour markets.
  • Experience of managing government-funded and/or operational contracts would be advantageous.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office.
  • Good financial awareness and the ability to understand and use performance and financial information to inform decisions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

You'll be a proactive, confident and solutions-focused professional who enjoys working with people and getting results.

You'll be comfortable challenging performance when required, while maintaining positive and constructive relationships. You'll be able to work strategically while also having the attention to detail needed to manage contractual requirements, compliance and performance effectively.

Most importantly, you'll be passionate about delivering high-quality services and improving outcomes for Participants.

Our Delivery Partners play a vital role in the successful delivery of our services. By effectively managing and developing these relationships, you'll have a direct impact on service quality, contractual performance and ultimately the outcomes achieved by Participants.

This is a role for someone who wants to make a difference, influence positive change and help create a high-performing, collaborative and continuously improving Delivery Partner network.
