Delivery Tutor - Manufacturing, Warehousing and Logistics

We're looking for a Delivery Tutor to support Seetec's manufacturing, warehousing, transport and logistics provision. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping learners and apprentices build the knowledge, skills, behaviours and confidence they need to progress in work and achieve recognised qualifications. 

You will deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across short-course and apprenticeship programmes using a remote and blended delivery model. The role requires credible sector knowledge, strong learner management, effective employer engagement and a clear focus on quality, compliance, progress and achievement. 

You will support learners from induction through to completion, ensuring learning is well planned, inclusive, stretching and aligned to qualification requirements, apprenticeship standards, awarding body expectations and Seetec quality processes. 


Provision / standards covered 


•    City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing (Knowledge and Skills) (4500-12) - (phone number removed) - manufacturing knowledge and skills delivery, including health and safety, production/assembly, quality, process        improvement and manufacturing workplace practice.

•    Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 - Course 111 / ST0259 - safe handling, stock movement, picking, packing, dispatch, stock accuracy, warehouse systems, customer service and workplace behaviours.

•    Urban Driver Level 2 - Course 671 / ST1025 - safe and professional urban goods delivery, route planning, vehicle/load checks, customer service, compliance, environmental awareness and preparation for gateway/EPA.

•    Transport and Warehouse Operations Supervisor Level 3 - Course 654 / ST0647 - supervisory practice across transport and warehouse operations, team leadership, legal and regulatory compliance, resource planning, customer expectations and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities 

  •  Plan, prepare and deliver engaging remote and blended learning sessions that meet curriculum intent, apprenticeship standard requirements, awarding body rules and learner needs.
  • Deliver apprenticeships and vocational qualifications in line with Seetec quality standards, DfE/ESFA funding rules, Ofsted expectations, safeguarding, Prevent, British values and equality, diversity and inclusion requirements.
  • Translate occupational standards and qualification content into practical, sequenced learning that helps learners apply new knowledge, skills and behaviours in the workplace.
  • Support learners to make sustained progress through effective coaching, assessment, feedback, target setting and regular progress reviews.
  • Maintain a strong focus on timely progress, off-the-job training, evidence quality, portfolio development, gateway readiness and successful End Point Assessment outcomes.
  • Assess learner work and workplace evidence, provide clear developmental feedback and ensure assessment decisions are accurate, fair, timely and auditable.
  • Work collaboratively with employers and internal stakeholders to confirm role relevance, identify workplace opportunities, remove barriers to progress and support positive learner outcomes.

Skills & Experence

•    Proven occupational competence in warehousing, logistics, supply chain, transport operations, manufacturing or a closely related environment.

•    Experience delivering vocational training, apprenticeships, work-based learning or sector-specific short courses, ideally within manufacturing, warehousing, transport or logistics.

•    Strong understanding of apprenticeship delivery, including KSB development, off-the-job training, progress reviews, portfolio building, gateway and EPA preparation.

•    Good working knowledge of qualification delivery, assessment practice, learner evidence, awarding body requirements and internal quality assurance processes.

•    Confidence delivering to diverse learner groups using digital platforms, webinars, workshops, one-to-one coaching and employer-based learning activities.

•    Ability to manage a caseload, prioritise workload, meet deadlines and keep learner records accurate and up to date.

•    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with learners, employers, colleagues and wider stakeholders.

•    A learner-centred, inclusive and values-led approach, with a genuine commitment to helping people develop sustainable careers.

•    Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, e-learning platforms and learner management systems.

•    Relevant occupational experience in at least one of the required sectors: manufacturing, warehousing, supply chain, transport or logistics.
