Top Jobs Group are recruiting on behalf of a leading furniture delivery company for an experienced 3.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join their expanding team in Dartford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and customer-focused driver looking for a long-term position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

• £18.13 per hour Umbrella Rate, rate includes Employer's NI, Apprenticeship Levy and Holiday Pay
• Hours - Every Tuesday to Saturday, 6.30am to 3.30pm

The Role

As a 3.5 Tonne Furniture Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering furniture safely to customers' homes, with up to 12 deliveries per day
• Carrying furniture into customers' homes and delivering to their room of choice
• Assembling furniture in customers' homes where required
• Safely loading and unloading the vehicle, including heavy lifting and manual handling
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on schedule
• Completing proof of delivery paperwork accurately
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery
• Representing the company in a professional and friendly manner

What We're Looking For

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Previous experience in home delivery, logistics, warehouse or multi-drop driving is desirable
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, organised and punctual
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and professional approach
