Demolition Labourer

We are looking for Soft Strip Demolition Labourers to start on a job in Farringdon. Must have CSCS or CCDO Green card.

Hours 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday. Saturday 8am - 1.30pm (paid 9 hours)

Duration - 6 Weeks +

Rate - £14.50 - £16.00 p/h

Core Responsibilities

• Interior Strip-Out: Carefully dismantling and removing non-load bearing walls, partition walls, suspended ceilings, doors, and doorframes.

• Fixtures and Fittings: Safely extracting built-in furniture, cabinetry, shelving, kitchen units, and bathroom fixtures (sinks, toilets, pipework).

• Floorings: Lifting and removing carpet tiles, linoleum, vinyl, timber floorboards, and raised access flooring systems.

• Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Decommissioning: Safely disconnecting, stripping, and removing HVAC systems, cable trays, conduits, lighting, and data cabling.

• Waste Management: Segregating stripped materials on-site (e.g., metals, wood, glass, plastics) into designated skips to maximize recycling.

• Hazardous Material Handling: Assisting with the isolation and removal of designated hazards, following strict Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) guidelines.
