In Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 08:00 – 18:00

Out of hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 18:00 – 08:00 and all day Saturday and Sunday

Experienced Dental Triage Nurses Required – Ongoing Agency Opportunities

Austin Dean Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Dental Triage Nurses to support a busy and established dental service in Bradley.

This is an excellent agency opportunity offering flexible working, ongoing shifts, and the opportunity to work around your existing commitments. Whether you're looking for regular full-time hours or occasional shifts, we can offer assignments to suit your availability.

As a Dental Triage Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients over the telephone, providing safe clinical advice, prioritising urgent dental needs, and directing patients to the appropriate care pathway while delivering an excellent patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments for patients requiring urgent dental care.
• Provide evidence-based clinical advice within your scope of practice.
• Prioritise patients according to clinical need using approved triage pathways.
• Escalate urgent or complex cases to the appropriate clinician.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality and infection prevention standards.
• Deliver outstanding patient care and professional customer service.

Essential Requirements

• Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing (or equivalent).
• Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
• Minimum of 2 years' GDC registration.
• Previous Dental Triage or urgent dental care experience.
• Valid Professional Indemnity Insurance.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Excellent communication, clinical assessment and IT skills.

Compliance Requirements

• An up-to-date CV demonstrating relevant Dental Triage experience.
• Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing qualification.
• Current GDC registration certificate.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate.
• Mandatory training certificates
