Deployment / Cut Over Manager
Experis
Deployment & Cutover Project Manager
π Manchester (Hybrid | 1 day per week onsite)
Are you the person who calls the Go / No-Go?
Not the PM who updates the RAID log.
Not the PM who schedules meetings.
The PM who stands in front of business leaders, technical teams, suppliers and executives and says:
"We're ready for production deployment."
Or...
"No-Go. The readiness criteria haven't been met."
If that sounds familiar, keep reading.
We're looking for an experienced Deployment & Cutover Project Manager to lead complex application deployments across a portfolio of business-critical transformation programmes.
You'll own the complete deployment lifecycle, from cutover planning and dress rehearsals through to Go-Live, Hypercare and BAU transition.
What you'll be doing
β Defining and governing Go / No-Go criteria
β Owning end-to-end cutover plans across multiple application workstreams
β Leading deployment readiness reviews with technical and business stakeholders
β Managing dress rehearsals, mock cutovers and rollback planning
β Coordinating application, infrastructure, data migration and business readiness activities
β Driving issue resolution during critical deployment windows
β Owning Hypercare governance and exit criteria
β Ensuring successful transition into operational support
What we're looking for
- Proven experience leading large-scale deployment or cutover programmes
- Strong application delivery background
- Experience coordinating complex technology and business workstreams
- Expertise in Go-Live readiness assessments
- Ability to challenge stakeholders when deployment risks are not understood or mitigated
- Experience running executive-level Go / No-Go forums
- Comfortable operating in high-pressure release and deployment environments
You'll stand out if you've delivered
- ERP deployments (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, IFS)
- CRM transformations
- Enterprise application migrations
- Large-scale business system replacements
- Cloud transformation programmes
Why this role?
Because successful programmes aren't remembered for their project plans.
They're remembered for what happens over deployment weekend.
The difference between success and failure often comes down to one question:
"Are we genuinely ready to go live?"
If you're the person trusted to answer that question, we'd like to talk.
