Deployment Engineer

Location: Belfast (Field Based)

Base Site: Knockbracken Healthcare Park, Belfast BT8 6SQ

Rate: £14.35 per hour

Vetting: Access NI Basic Required

We are seeking a Deployment Engineer to support a large-scale IT deployment programme across the Northern Ireland Health & Social Care environment.

You will be responsible for installing, configuring and deploying desktop and laptop devices, supporting end users and ensuring equipment is delivered and installed to a high standard.

This is a customer-facing role offering the opportunity to work across a variety of healthcare locations whilst contributing to an important technology transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and deploy desktop and laptop devices.
• Provide end-user support and technical assistance.
• Travel between customer locations as required.
• Support remote workers and customer sites.
• Complete deployment activities in line with project schedules.
• Work within agreed service levels and performance targets.
• Deliver a professional customer experience at all times.

About You

You will have:

• Previous experience within IT deployment, desktop support or field engineering.
• Strong hardware installation and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• The ability to work independently across customer environments.
• A flexible approach to travel and site-based working.
