We are recruiting for an experienced Deputy Care Manager (Clinical) to support the Home Manager in leading a nursing care service and ensuring the delivery of safe, compassionate and high-quality care.
The Role
- Provide clinical leadership to nursing and care teams.
- Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the service.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and clinical governance requirements.
- Mentor and supervise nurses and care staff.
- Complete clinical audits, care plan reviews and medication oversight.
- Support assessments, risk management and safeguarding processes.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
- Take responsibility for the home in the Home Manager’s absence.
About You
- Previous Deputy Manager / Deputy Home Manager experience.
- NMC Registered Nurse – essential.
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and clinical governance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience with care planning, medication management, audits and safeguarding.
- Passionate about delivering person-centred, high-quality nursing care.
