Deputy Home Manager

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate care professional to join a beautiful luxury care home near Brighton. 

Applications are welcomed from Clinical Deputy Managers, Deputy Managers and highly experienced Care Coordinators ready to progress.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference within a warm, welcoming and vibrant home where residents are at the heart of everything they do. The home combines stunning surroundings with exceptional, person-centred care.

The successful candidate will join a strong and supportive leadership team. Working closely with the Home Manager and existing Clinical Deputy, you will help lead a skilled and dedicated team, champion quality and ensure every resident receives the outstanding care they deserve.

Salary and benefits

• Salary ranges from £40,000-£55,000 PA DOE depending on skills, qualifications and experience
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Alternate weekends
• 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays

Requirements

• A minimum Level 3 qualification—or higher—in Health and Social Care
• Leadership experience within a care home or similar setting
• Strong knowledge of CQC standards and a commitment to achieving excellent compliance
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• A warm, approachable and team-focused attitude
• Clinical qualifications and relevant experience for Clinical Deputy applicants

Your priorities will include

• Leading, motivating and supporting a committed staff team to deliver exceptional care every day
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the home and taking responsibility when the Home Manager is unavailable
• Maintaining high standards and creating a culture in which everyone strives to exceed expectations
• Supporting, training and developing staff so they remain engaged, motivated and confident in their roles
• Working collaboratively with the wider leadership team to continually improve the resident experience
