We’re looking for a hands‑on, motivated Deputy Hotel Manager to support the Hotel Manager in delivering outstanding operations, service excellence and commercial performance across our hotel.

As a Deputy Hotel Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the hotel runs smoothly every day- providing visible leadership, supporting Heads of Department, and deputising for the Hotel Manager during periods of absence.
You’ll help drive high performance across all departments, ensuring teams are well-trained, well‑resourced and delivering consistently excellent service. With a strong focus on operational excellence, compliance and guest satisfaction, you’ll support the hotel’s success from both a service and commercial perspective.
What you will be doing...- Support the Hotel Manager across all areas of hotel management to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Confidently deputise for the Hotel Manager, maintaining quality, consistency and leadership when needed.
- Work closely with Heads of Department to ensure departmental efficiency, performance and compliance.
- Support the control of financial performance including sales, profit margins, budgets, wage costs and payroll.
- Help ensure all financial targets are met and expenditure remains within forecast.
- Identify risks to peWork closely with the People Team to support recruitment, induction and development of departmental leaders and their teams.
- Coach, mentor and motivate Heads of Department to improve capability, engagement and accountability.
- Significant experience managing large teams across multiple hotel or hospitality departments.
- A leadership style that promotes culture, engagement, development and accountability.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting financial performance.
- Excellent IT skills and confidence using a range of systems.
- Strong organisational ability to manage a varied and demanding workload.
- High emotional intelligence, with the ability to lead through change and resolve conflict constructively.
- Experience supporting or delivering large‑scale operational or commercial projects.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
