On call bonus £2,000.
£70.00 per sleep.
Bringing annual salary to circa £41,000-£45,000.
We are seeking a Deputy Manager to become part of our newly formed team in Netherton, Liverpool. In this role, you will assist the Registered Manager in the daily operations of the home, supporting a dedicated group of Residential Child Care Workers who are committed to providing exceptional care for the children and young people we serve, aiming for positive outcomes.
You will work in a home that fosters a culture where every child is respected, heard and engaged with as much as possible.
Your responsibilities will include providing emotional support, establishing strong connections, setting boundaries, creating routines and developing a home environment that children and young people can truly relate to.
This position involves nurturing each child's individual needs and helping them explore their interests, whether they be in sports, cooking, music or any aspirations they may have. Building confidence and self-esteem is essential for all the children and young people in our care.
You will need:
An understanding of Children's Home Regulations and Quality Standards.
Knowledge of Ofsted procedures and legislation.
Ability to lead a team on shift.
This is a role that requires a strong character and resolve.
You will require:
Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or be prepared to work toward it).
NVQ Level 4 Children & Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent.
Have a proven track record with Ofsted, Legislative Framework.
Ability to work shift patterns and sleep-ins.
Two years’ experience as Deputy Manager or Senior RSW in a Children and Young Person’s setting.
Full UK driving licence.
