This bright, roomy nursery in Kensal Green is an attractive and welcoming setting with a fantastic reputation and OFSTED report. They are based only a short walk from Kensal Green, Kensal Rise and Queens Park stations, with great transport links on both the trains and multiple bus routes. The spacious Nursery offers specific areas for different age groups, and a large outdoor space for weather activities.
As the new Nursery Deputy Manager you will be working alongside an experienced and passionate Manager who has been with the company for more than 25 years! You will be a crucial member of the leadership team, supporting with all aspects of the day-to-day management of the site. You should be familiar with all educational standards and OFSTED requirements and possess the ability to wear all different hats and step in to support wherever needed within the setting.
This is a full time, permanent Deputy Nursery Manager role paying a fantastic starting salary of £39,075 per annum! You will be working for a established employer with a fantastic track record of supporting and developing their staff both personally and professionally. Experienced Third in Charges with 2 years’ experience and Level 3 or above in Early Years Education / Childcare are encouraged to apply.
Nursery Deputy Manager profile:
- A minimum of Level 3 in Childcare, Early Years Educator or similar
- Paediatric First Aid
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and current childcare legislation.
- Strong leadership skills with previous leadership experience within a Nursery setting (E.g. Third in Charge, Deputy Nursery Manager, Nursery Manager)
Nursery Deputy Manager duties will include:
- Supporting the Nursery Manager to lead and inspire a varied team of early years professionals
- Support with safeguarding for the setting, putting the welfare and safety of the children above all else
- Regularly liaising with Parents and Carers to ensure a high level of involvement and satisfaction
- Deputising for the Manager in their absence
