We are recruiting for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a well-established, highly rated 40-bed nursing home in Caldicot.
This vacancy has arisen due to an internal promotion, with the current Deputy Manager progressing into the Home Manager position. As a result, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and supportive service with strong leadership and excellent career development prospects.
The Role
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 2 clinical shifts per week (8:00am – 6:00pm)
- 3 supernumerary days per week (9:00am – 5:00pm)
- On-call rota every other weekend
- Working closely with the Home Manager to ensure high standards of clinical care and compliance
- Leading audits, staff supervision, training and team development

- 40-bed nursing home
- Good CIW rating
- Two nurses on duty at all times during the day

Package
- Salary up to £50,000 per annum

About You
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with active NMC PIN
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
