Responsibilities and duties of the Deputy Vice President role
Reporting to the Vice President of Service Solutions you will:
- Support the VP Regional Service Solutions and Regional Leadership Team in defining and executing strategic priorities across Regional Service Centres.
- Lead strategic analysis, business case development, and scenario planning to support growth initiatives, market expansion, and service portfolio development.
- Drive alignment of regional budgets, investment plans, and workforce strategies with business objectives and long-term growth ambitions.
- Monitor business performance, market trends, and competitive developments to identify opportunities, risks, and improvement actions.
- Facilitate collaboration across Account Management communities to strengthen customer focus, knowledge sharing, and commercial performance.
- Coordinate the implementation of transformation, digitalisation, and operational improvement programs across Regional Service Centres.
- Support the optimisation and standardisation of business processes to improve operational efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide strategic insights, performance analysis, and recommendations to senior leadership to support effective decision-making.
- Manage Regional Leadership Team governance, ensuring execution of strategic initiatives, action plans, and key performance objectives.
- Represent the VP Regional Service Solutions when required, ensuring stakeholder alignment, effective communication, and continuity of leadership.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Master's degree (MSc.) in Engineering, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent business qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in leadership or managerial roles, preferably within a service-oriented, industrial, or technical environment.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, business transformation, operational improvement, and supporting executive-level decision-making.
- Strong business and financial acumen, with demonstrated ability to analyse performance, develop business cases, and drive results.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills; advanced proficiency in standard business IT applications and reporting tools.
