Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a reliable and hands-on Deputy Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy warehouse operation in Willand, Devon.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative, Senior Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Team Leader or Warehouse Supervisor who is ready to take on additional responsibility and develop their career within a busy and growing warehouse environment.

You will support the Team Leader with the day-to-day running of the warehouse and take responsibility for key functions when the Team Leader is not working.

• £12.71 per hour for the first 12 weeks.
• £13.21 per hour once permanent.
• Full-time, permanent opportunity.
• 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

• Monday to Thursday, 8am-5pm.
• Friday, 8am-4pm.
• 39 hours per week.

• Receive and dispatch goods accurately and efficiently.
• Operate a forklift truck, with training provided for the right candidate.
• Pick and process orders from start to finish.
• Palletise and prepare goods for dispatch.
• Book orders onto the online portal.
• Print and monitor website and online shop orders.
• Ensure stock is correctly put away and the warehouse remains organised.
• Help ensure the warehouse operates efficiently and smoothly.
• Support the Team Leader with daily warehouse operations.
• Take responsibility for key warehouse functions when the Team Leader is not working.
• Safely manoeuvre full pallets of product.

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Good written and verbal English.
• Computer literate and comfortable using online systems.
• Willing and able to operate a forklift truck.
• Previous forklift experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
• Ability to safely manoeuvre full pallets of product.
• Organised and reliable approach to work.
• Ability to work independently when required.
• Good attention to detail.
• Hands-on approach and positive attitude.
