Abbey Multi Academy Trust — Leeds Daily Supply, Short‑Term & Long‑Term Opportunities

The Supply Register is seeking experienced Design & Technology Teachers to work across schools within the Abbey Multi Academy Trust in Leeds. We are recruiting for a range of day‑to‑day, short‑term, and long‑term roles to support curriculum delivery across KS3 and KS4.

About the Role

You will deliver engaging and practical D&T lessons across specialisms such as:

  • Product Design

  • Resistant Materials

  • Engineering

  • Graphics

  • Food Technology

  • Textiles

Assignments vary from flexible daily cover to longer‑term teaching commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high‑quality, curriculum‑aligned D&T lessons

  • Maintain a safe and well‑managed workshop or classroom environment

  • Support pupils with practical tasks and project work

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress

  • Work collaboratively with department staff and school leadership

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Design & Technology at KS3/KS4

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management

  • A proactive and adaptable approach

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
