The Supply Register is seeking experienced Design & Technology Teachers to work across schools within the Abbey Multi Academy Trust in Leeds. We are recruiting for a range of day‑to‑day, short‑term, and long‑term roles to support curriculum delivery across KS3 and KS4.
About the RoleYou will deliver engaging and practical D&T lessons across specialisms such as:

Product Design
-
Resistant Materials
-
Engineering
-
Graphics
-
Food Technology
-
Textiles
Assignments vary from flexible daily cover to longer‑term teaching commitments.
Key Responsibilities-
Deliver high‑quality, curriculum‑aligned D&T lessons

Maintain a safe and well‑managed workshop or classroom environment

Support pupils with practical tasks and project work
-
Assess and monitor pupil progress
-
Work collaboratively with department staff and school leadership
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Experience teaching Design & Technology at KS3/KS4
-
Strong classroom and behaviour management
-
A proactive and adaptable approach
-
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
