Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Design Engineer to join an established engineering team responsible for designing specialist fabricated engineering products.

As a Design Engineer, you will produce high-quality manufacturing drawings, create detailed 3D models and work closely with internal teams to develop customer solutions from concept through to manufacture.

The successful Design Engineer will use CAD software to produce accurate engineering documentation while ensuring designs are practical, manufacturable and commercially viable.

Working alongside experienced engineers, the Design Engineer will become an integral part of a collaborative team delivering projects for customers around the world.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Design Engineer who enjoys technically challenging work and wants genuine long-term career progression within a stable engineering business.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Design Engineer
• HNC, HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience within fabrication, mechanical engineering or pipework
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings
• Experience using Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D CAD software
• Able to produce manufacturing drawings
